Morley’s Final Catalogue: Very rare and local with us; on ash. Unobserved since it was taken at Leiston before 1890 (Grey).

Recent Status: A scarce species in Suffolk.

Life Style: A single brooded species that hibernates as adult. They can be found from July to April.
The larvae feed from a silken web on the terminal leaves of Fraxinus and Ligustrum vulgare. They pupate in a dense white cocoon on a leaf or in the web.

Identification: An easily recognised narrow brown winged species with a declined posture at rest.

First Recorded in 2004.
Last Recorded in 2024.
